They are not totally dead. They sometimes work, but I find no pattern about when they work and when they don't.
Sometimes Bluetooth works right after start up. In other time, the Bluetooth icon does not show up in menu bar I have "Show Bluetooth status shown in menu bar" checked in settings. When I enter settings, Bluetooth is shown to be off.

We constitute the keyboard wonderful to type on. Key move seemed to live satisfying, equally seemed to live the ASUS N550JX Realtek LAN, realistic keyboard layout together with generously sized Type in, Backspace, as well as Shift keys. We peculiarly liked the focused numeric pad; the keys you lot volition notice slightly narrower compared to the criterion keys, only nosotros constitute the keypad the welcome inclusion as well as proficient utilization of the available existent estate investment.
Because ASUS N550JX Realtek LAN had the numeric slumber pad, the keyboard as well as also impact pad were non centered beneath the display, only that failed to bother us inward whatever way.
In past tests the CPU was the one going all the way down mostly 1. On this particular system the CPU never went under 2.
Network card settings
I've tried some real life testing under gaming conditions with Metro Last ASUS N550JX Realtek LAN as my main title for the job. I have tried all the settings. With the very high and even high ones the fps are too low to play can't say how low, but I could see that there is no way of having a smooth experience. Still all these high settings put a nice big load on the system.
And I've started to look at the numbers to see how low will they get.
Strangely enough, they did not. Going back to Furmak and Prime made the system downclock.
The cooling was extremly fast after load was "lifted" and that is a good thing. Also keep in mind that Asus has a bad habit of ASUS N550JX Realtek LAN variation and not only Asus to be fairso some machines might perform better, while some worse.
With N this was not possible. The upper middle part of the case gets extremly hot during high loads and this makes it hard to use as a "lap"-top.
The good thing is that the palmrest and the ASUS N550JX Realtek LAN lower part are barely warm. But how does this system works under normal load, since more likely this is how it will be used most of the time? This means a barely warm case, even if you put it on the bed with the air flow not at it's best. Noise is not a problem under normal usage there is none.
Under heavy loads there is some noise, but not much more compared with similar laptops. Definetly it's a good laptop for working in quiet places as far as the fan noise goes keyboard makes a little bit of noise ASUS N550JX Realtek LAN afraid. Battery life Even if I have the 4 cell one, still it was a nice surprise. With all settings to minimum and WiFi on, I got 5h just browsing the web. The 6 cell one should perform even better.

To be honest I have no real cons. It looks great, it feels great, it performs great it has it's shorts, but not that many.
Lenovo Yp comes to mind. Less expensive, has more power, more features.
