It's fine for most any business use short of the likes of desktop publishing, which requires very small fonts. The other printer was a toy by comparison!!
I Brother MFC-9120CN Printer recommended the MFC to others who have been similarly delighted with it I would not contemplate buying any other printer ever again such is my satisfaction with this product. I only wish I had bought it first! I therefore had to purchase this product quickly.
The print quality for this printer is below my expectation. Perhaps purchasing the laser printer would have been a better option?
I've been brother loyal for over ten years now, but it's not the product that keeps me that way, it's their exceptional level of service. Text quality was average for a laser-class printer, which means it's still very good. It's fine for most any business use short of the likes Brother MFC-9120CN Printer desktop publishing, which requires very small fonts.
Graphics quality was a touch below par for a color laser. Dithering solid areas appearing as visible dot patterns and banding a regular pattern of faint stripes or bars of discoloration were frequent though fairly Brother MFC-9120CN Printer issues, and some solid areas showed an uneven distribution of ink.

Thin, colored lines were often lost altogether. The output was acceptable for schoolwork or casual business use, and perhaps for PowerPoint handouts depending on who your audience is and the importance of your presentation, but Brother MFC-9120CN Printer for formal reports or documents you seek to impress with a sense of professionalism.
Photo quality was also below par. Colors were a bit under-saturated in a couple of prints.
Most images showed some degree of dithering, and a couple showed mild banding.
